Job description
a. Do TD-SCDMA Radio Network Node system design. Focus will be system design of traffic functions on layer 3 and layer 2.
b. Write detailed Implementation Proposals for feature/function implementation RAN nodes, as inputs to SW designers.
c. Use TD-SCDMA and WCDMA standards/specifications to do system design.
d. Technically lead and support SW design. Prioritize technical issues and solutions.
e. Trouble shoot node implementation.

Competence Requirements
a. Strong knowledge and experience in System design area of layer 3 and layer 2 WCDMA or TD-SCDMA in RNC/RBS.
b. Strong experience and knowledge about TD-SCDMA and/or WCDMA system architecture.
c. Strong knowledge of TD-SCDMA and/or WCDMA radio network functionality.
d. Technical leadership skills, Knowledge on how to structure and solve technical issues.
e. Good competence on SW architectures impact on Node performance.
f. Knowledge of C++ and/or RoseRT.
g. Good knowledge and experience of searching/reading 3GPP standards/specifications.

Basic qualifications
To be effective in this role you need a strong technical understanding of the RNC and its radio network functionality.
University degree in Software or Telecom Engineering or equivalent
Excellent knowledge of Wireless Communication systems
