Transport Block (TB), L1和MAC之間交換數(shù)據(jù)的基本單元，一個TB對應一個RLC PDU. 層一為每個TB增加CRC。

Transport Block Set (TBS), TB的集合，特定時間間隔內某個傳輸信道在L1和MAC之間交換的TBs.

Transport Block Size,TB的bit長度。一個特定的TBS中TB大小是一樣的。

Transport Block Set Size, 一個TBS中的數(shù)據(jù)的bit長度.

Transmission Time Interval ( TTI ), TBS的傳送間隔。等于物理層在空口傳送一個TBS的周期. TTI最小10ms，還有20,40,80ms. MAC每個TTI傳送數(shù)據(jù)給物理層.

Transport Format ( TF),L1向MAC提供的一個格式，規(guī)定了特定的傳輸信道在一個TTI內傳送TBS的格式。由半靜態(tài)(TTI, type of error protection [turbo code, convolutional code or no channel coding], coding rate,static RM parameter, size of CRC)和動態(tài)部分(Transport Block Size, Transport Block Set Size)組成。

Transport Format Set (TFS), 一個傳輸信道上允許的傳輸格式的集合。一個TBS內的所有TF的半靜態(tài)部分相同。TBS size and TTI define the TrCH bit rate before L1 processing. Depending on the type of service carried by the TrCH, the variable bit rate may be achieved by changing between TTIs either the TBS Size only, or both the TBS and TBS Size.

Transport Format Combination (TFC), 當前有效的傳輸格式的組合，能夠在一個CCTrCH上同時傳送。也就是每個傳輸信道選擇一個TF形成的一個組合。

Transport Format Combination Set (TFCS), 一個CCTrCH上有效的TFC的組合。

Transport Format Indicator ( TFI),TF的標示，一個TBS內有效。用于L1和MAC層間通信是使用。

Transport Format Combination Indicator (TFCI), TFC的標示，用于空口對等層之間的通信使用，在DPCCH上傳送。每個傳輸信道在特定時候以一個TFI來表達其傳輸格式。物理層將映射到其上的所有傳輸信道的TFI組合起來形成TFCI。TFCI通過DPCCH在空口上傳到對端，對端通過TFCI找到所接收到的數(shù)據(jù)的傳輸格式組合。
