Key responsibilities (in order of importance):
1. Provide NSS planning services to prepare for switch launch.
2. Promote the network planning services to operator in order to generate further sales for our partner company.
3. Create an image of “value-adding NSS planning services".
4. Provide detailed signaling network planning studies.
5. Be flexible in terms of time availability and travelling.
6. Provide competence transfer to other switch planning engineers.

Key tasks:
1. NSS planning with a special focus on 3GPP Release 4 and SS7 signaling networks. SMS, A-interface analysis, SS7 parameter settings and troubleshooting
2. Provide detailed signaling network dimensioning for different scenarios based on the network assessment results.
3. Provide detailed signaling network analysis and proposals.
4. Competence transfer for NSS planning to other engineers.
5. Active participation to the external and internal meetings

Qualifications and experience needed for this position:
1. Excellent system knowledge (GSM, GPRS, IN, SS7 signaling)
2. SS7 configuration and parameters planning
3. Routing and digit analysis planning
4. Signaling Planning / Dimensioning experience
5. 3GPP Release 4 and TCP/IP knowledge
6. NSS equipment (DX200 platform) and solutions
7. Presentation skills
