EMS Team Position: Senior EMS java developer


Job Description:
As a senior member of the Genband EMS(Element Management System) team, will be responsible for the new EMS feature design and development.


Duties of the Position:
Participate in all phases of the development cycle, including feature definition, design, coding, testing, system integration, documentation,
and support. Collaboration with other internal and external product development teams is expected so complete solutions are provided. Other duties as assigned.


Education:
BS/MS in EE/CS or equivalent
Skill Requirements:
3+ years of development engineering experience in EMS/NMS/OSS related telecommunication area
7+ years with good software development skill sets with Java, C++
Strong understanding and experience with formal software development processes
Solid database application development experience, such as MySQL or Oracle
Sharp and can ramp up quickly
Detail oriented, responsible, self motivated and minimal monitoring needed
Good communications skills sets
Good written/oral English
Understanding of SNMP protocols is a plus
Familiar with UNIX and scripts is a plus




2. EMS Team

Job Description:
As a senior member of the Genband EMS(Element Management System) team, will be responsible for the Unix Platform related feature(Such as OS customization) design and development.


Duties of the Position:
Participate in all phases of the development cycle, including Unix OS related feature definition, design, coding, testing, system integration, documentation,
and support. Collaboration with other internal and external product development teams is expected so complete solutions are provided. Other duties as assigned.


Education:
BS/MS in EE/CS or equivalent
Skill Requirements:
7+ years of development engineering experience in Solaris/Linux environment
7+ years with good software development skill sets with Java, C++ and scripts
Deep understanding and experience with Solaris/Linux kernel
Detail oriented, responsible, self motivated and minimal monitoring needed
Good communications skills sets
Good oral/written English
