Job Description:
This is a senior engineering position with responsibility in system integration testing in the Tellabs Access Test Team.
-Minimum 4 years system integration experience in network equipment and EMS
-Planning and executing telecommunication device EMS system integration testing
-Specializing in Unix, Database, Oracle, SQL etc.
-Familiar with TL1, SNMP,TCL script etc.
-Specializing in xPON, IP DSLAM, L2 Ethernet technologies which includes but does not limit to ARP, LACP&LAG, DHCP, 802.1x, xDSL, ATM, PPP etc.
-Main responsibilities include both manual and automation testing with setting up testing environment, designing, implementing, debugging and executing test cases and scripts in a simulated or real environment, reporting and analyzing the test results
-Additional responsibility includes some coordination of testing activity and participating in regular communication with domestic and oversea peers
-Some support to field support may also be required.
-Reporting test results and defects

Requirements:
-Must have BSEE/BSCE and related working experiences in telecom industry
-Direct experience in testing, planning, installing and supporting communication device and network management software is required
-In depth knowledge and experience of IP and L2 Ethernet concepts in access network is mandatory.
-Knowledge and experience of Database, Unix, SNMP, TL1 concepts are needed.
-Working experience in Windows and Unix environment including knowledge of shell commands are needed
-Experience in script programming, e.g., TCL, Perl is preferred.
-Experience with TL1 and/or SNMP protocols is preferred.
-Experience with Oracle database is plus
-Must have strong verbal and written English skills.

Requirements:
