Abstract—In this work, we investigate the effects of Power
Control Error (PCE) and channel fading gain estimation error on
the performance of Space-Time Block Coded CDMA Systems. We
observed that the diversity gain that is obtained through antenna
diversity tends to be nullified with PCE hence the need for
stringent power control algorithms in STBC-CDMA systems. We
also noticed that the channel gain estimation error reduces,
substantially, the performance of STBC-CDMA systems.
