4.O&M tasks and functions 操作維護(hù)部門的日常工作及職能
The Operation and Maintenance tasks can be divided to three functions:
操作維護(hù)系統(tǒng)的任務(wù)按職能分為三部分:
- Routine Monitoring日常監(jiān)測
- Faulty Management 故障管理
- Configuration Management 配置管理
Function descriptions 職能描述
Routine Monitoring 日常監(jiān)測
The network produces constantly a great amount of statistical and alarm data which must be filtered, analysed and in some parts distributed further in the organisation.
網(wǎng)絡(luò)自動生成大量的統(tǒng)計(jì)和告警數(shù)據(jù)。這些數(shù)據(jù)必須經(jīng)過篩選、分析,某些數(shù)據(jù)則進(jìn)一步分送相關(guān)部門。
Routine Monitoring includes following tasks:
日常監(jiān)測工作具體如下:
- Management of Alarms i.e Monitoring, Cancelling, Blocking andUnblocking Alarms in BSS and NSS. In monitoring NMS/2000 should be used and incoming alarms should be acknowledged and if needed filtered / un-filtered to make alarm monitoring efficient.
告警信息管理。即在基站子系統(tǒng)和網(wǎng)絡(luò)交換子系統(tǒng)中對告警進(jìn)行監(jiān)測、刪除、鎖定以及解鎖。在監(jiān)測中,操作維護(hù)中心需確認(rèn)所有告警并通過篩選工作保證告警監(jiān)測的高效率。
- Management of measurements and observations i.e starting and stopping measurements in BSS and NSS.
管理日常測量和觀察工作。例如運(yùn)行和終止基站子系統(tǒng)和網(wǎng)絡(luò)交換系統(tǒng)的日常測量。
- Analysing the data with NMS and other possible tools for example line printer printouts of measurements and alarms
通過操作維護(hù)中心及其它有效工具對數(shù)據(jù)進(jìn)行基本分析。諸如通過網(wǎng)絡(luò)打印將測量結(jié)果和告警信息打印成文。
- Passing faults and problems to Fault Management function. Confirming corrected problems with Fault Management function and doing corrective actions described in the alarm manual or otherwise correct the indicated fault. For example restarting cammed’ units in BTS after PCM failure.
將故障和問題轉(zhuǎn)至故障管理系統(tǒng)。利用故障管理系統(tǒng)確認(rèn)問題并利用告警手冊所描述的步驟校正故障或潛在的故障。例如,在PCM出錯后重新啟動BTS系統(tǒng),使滯留的單元重新運(yùn)作。
- Preparing alarm/fault statistics and measurement reports.
作出告警/故障統(tǒng)計(jì)及測量報(bào)告。
- Performing the routine checks (Applendix A) and filling in the Work Sheet (Appendix B) in testing the functions ofNetwork Elements.
通過常規(guī)檢查(參見附錄A)并將其記錄在案(參見附錄B)以測試網(wǎng)絡(luò)

To perform these tasks following appendixes can be used as guideline for daily/weekly/monthly checks:

- The Appendix A describes the detailed check routines with instructions.
附錄A詳細(xì)描述了每日/每周/每月的日常工作規(guī)程。
- The Appendix B contains the work sheet which should be filled in every time routine check is done.
附錄B提供了一份工作記錄表,用于記錄每次常規(guī)檢查。
In addition to routine checks alarms generally should be monitored constantly on every day. Measurement reports are gererated as needed.
此外,您仍需每天監(jiān)測告警狀況并產(chǎn)生所需測量報(bào)告。
Fault Management 故障管理
The Fault Management includes following tasks:
故障管理系統(tǒng)具體工作如下:
- Finding out the details of the suspected fault (trouble shooting) from Alarm Printouts, unit statesand measurements.
通過告警輸出、單元狀態(tài)及測量等相關(guān)信息對故障問題進(jìn)行具體核查。
- Doing the corrective actions described in the alarm manual, in trouble shooting manuals or otherwise correct the indicated fault or problem.
根據(jù)告警手冊及其他相關(guān)資料對告警信息作出正確的處理,糾正錯誤,排除故障。
- If needed contacting the Nokia Help Desk for an advice for the problem.
若需要, 與諾基亞服務(wù)平臺取得聯(lián)系,獲取幫助。
- Confirming corrective actions with Routine Monitoring Function. Examples are replacing unit in BTS, correction of unstable PCM line or any other action done, where the result of action should be monitored before final conclusion of successful trouble shooting can be made.
通過日常監(jiān)測功能確認(rèn)校正措施。如監(jiān)測相應(yīng)故障排除舉措的影響: 如在基站更換板件, 穩(wěn)固PCM線路等工作的影響, 直至確認(rèn)故障被成功排除。
- Testing the corrections of implemented Change Note, Technical Notes or New Software Releases.
測試所安裝的Change Note的正確性,對更新的軟件進(jìn)行測試。
- Providing further information requested by the Nokia Help Desk.In case of call to the Nokia Help Desk act as interface towards Nokia.
