“History on dropped calls” measurements
This new BR8.0 feature provides history data related to the dropped calls. Based on these information the user is able to do specific dropped call statistics and to detect the reasons and location of the dropped call.
The drops are observed for the TCH and the SDCCH channels, so the term “call” means calls on the TCH channels as well as for the SMS, Location update procedures on the SDCCH channel.
This service info explains how to enable, upload, collect and process “History on dropped calls” (HDCTR) measurements. For technical details of this feature, please refer to TED BSS.
