Loading of GSM BTS RUS SW G11B into the BSC and
RBS
This document describes loading of GSM SW for RBS 6000 with DUG
20/[R]RUS configurations into the IOG/APG.
The installation instruction is valid for
Release G11B with support for BSS G11B, BSS G10B, BSS G10A, BSS 09A,
BSS 08B, BSS 08A, BSS 07B
RBS software CXP 104 0013/05 R61E
Before starting the upgrade procedures, it is recommended that all steps
including the fallback procedure has been reviewed.
The Installation Instruction for RBS 6000 with DUG10/RUG11 or RBS 2000
has the document number 1531-LZB 111 1203-35.
Note: Upgrade from BSS G10A or older to BSS G10B or newer requires
manual configuration of each BTS. See chapter 5.3.
Note: It is strongly recommended that all RBS 2000 are upgraded to
GSM/BTS TRU/RUG SW G11B, or to G10A_1, before GSM/BTS RUS SW
G11B is installed on the BSC. The RBS 2000 will then be protected against
accidental loading of GSM/BTS RUS SW.
