The APZ 212 60 is an evolution of the APZ 212 40/50/55 architecture. The main differences are In the APZ 212 60 all CP and AP functionality is normally housed on boards in the same magazine, utilizing state of the art micro processor system and interconnect technology. All boards are Ericsson boards and RoHS compliant.
APZ 212 60 exist in 2 board variants, a 30 mm compact version, the APZ 212 60C and a 60 mm version, the APZ 212 60.
The execution capacity of the APZ 212 60 is approximately 1.3 x APZ 212 50, and the APZ 212 60C is 5 – 10 % less. These figures are based on an MSC traffic model and are dependent upon application. For an HLR, STP, SPX the execution capacity is approximately 2 x APZ 212 50.
APZ 212 60 supports all previous APZ applications and adds no application impact.
