1.Add/Delete Unit/IFM to HW-inventory
When initial commission or trouble shooting, add/delete Unit/IFM to HW-inventory will be useful.
router #hw-inventory add-all-units
router #hw-inventory remove-all-units
Please be careful for this 2 command, it could lead database lost. Normally we use it when initial commission. And it can be used as restore factory.

We could add/delete one IFC or CDCto HW-inventory. For example, change the IFC 13 to IFC 11, we should do below:
router# hw-inventory slot 13 remove unit
router# hw-inventory slot 11 add unit clean-start etsi

We also could add/delete one IFM to HW-inventory: For example, add 8*GE IFM to IFC 4, act as IFM 4/0.
router# hw-inventory slot 4 add module 0 type 8x1000BASE-X

Check the HW-inventory status, ensure all IFC was up and running, and all IFM’s type was correct corresponding to hardware type.
router# show hw-inventory
router# show hw-inventory slot 4
