The new age of mobile communication is arriving with the TD-SCDMA access technology. TDSCDMA is characterized by offering high volume voice and data services within 1.6MHz bandwidth. Product Introduction

The development of NB-450LC is based on the mature SIEMENS-HuaWei Node B platform. Designed to handle symmetrical real-time services (circuit-switched) and asymmetrical data services (packet-switched), the NB-450LC supports concurrent circuitswitched and packet-switched services within the same TDSCDMA carrier. So the subscribers can be offered voice and data services by one UE.A TD-SCDMA carrier handles up to 24 simultaneous calls. Release LCR1 can be equipped with up to 3/3/3 configuration. With future releases in the networks, the NB- 450LC’s hardware is ready to accept up to 12 carriers. With 1.6 MHz bandwidth, the packet domain data rates can reach up to 384 kbps for high speed mobility operation.The adoption of TDD, Smart Antenna, Joint Detection and Uplink Synchronization asks TDSCDMA RAN network elements for higher requirements. NB-450LC provides a powerful platform for 3G services with its modularized architecture, powerful signal processing ability and downloadable software radio technology.NB-450LC adopts the newest technology to guarantee the global quality standards. It is a reliable solution to establish the 3G TDD mobile network.

 
 

Smart Antenna Advantages

Smart antenna is an adaptive antenna array which contains multiple antenna elements. The TDD mode of operation of TDSCDMA offers optimum support for the implementation of smart antennas technology due to the radio path reciprocity of downlink and uplink operating on the same carrier in both directions. Smart antennas minimize inter and intracell interference and increase the capacity of the system With the higher spectrum efficiency achieved by smart antenna, the number of basestations is reduced in metropolitan and heavy density city.Smart antennas’ high directivity also reduces the number of basestations required to 1/4 in rural areas with low population density.
